Defensive Player of the Year: Nick Bosa
Bosa's skill is undeniable. This year he stays healthy and takes the throne as the top edge rusher in the NFL.
Offensive Player of the Year: Justin Jefferson
Nobody in NFL history has had more receiving yards in their first two seasons than Justin Jefferson. He will continue his dominance and have even more production in Kevin O'Connell's offense.
Defensive Rookie of the Year: Aidan Hutchinson
Hutchinson is a stud in both run defense and as a pass rusher. His get-off and physical playstyle will allow him to succeed immediately at the NFL level.
Offensive Rookie of the Year: Breece Hall
Hall is a three down back whose athleticism and burst should allow him to eventually take over as a full time back in New York. I see him having success behind an underrated Jet's offensive line.
Comeback Player of the Year: Derrick Henry
The King will return to form this season and finish top 3 in rushing yards. He is the engine of the Titans offense and I think he will pick up where he left off in 2021.
Coach of the Year: Nathaniel Hackett
It is no secret that I am high on the Broncos this season. I think that Hackett will bring the best out of Russell Wilson and have Denver in contention for a Super Bowl. When Hackett took over as Offensive Coordinator In Green Bay (2019-2021) Aaron Rodgers enjoyed a career revival and won MVP in 2020 and 2021. I see a similar outcome for a Broncos team that just needs to put all the pieces together.
MVP: Lamar Jackson
In 2022, I think that a fully healthy Lamar Jackson will capture the league's eye again. With a healthy team surrounding him and a potential upgrade at WR1 in Rashod Bateman, Jackson is set up to have a repeat of his record breaking 2019 MVP campaign.
